Salmon Project
This Process begins in November when classes receive
salmon eggs from Wolf Lake Hatchery near Kalamazoo.
The students watch the eggs hatch and spend the year learning about the life
cycle, habitat, and conservation of salmon.
When released the salmon are three inches long. The salmon are released in may
into Blue creek on the Ross Skibbe farm. It is hoped to create a sustainable
population of salmon in blue creek.
